Tori Spelling is broke. On Oct. 24, MSN reported that Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, have found themselves in a spot of financial trouble. Their business manager recently told them that they couldn't afford a vasectomy for Dean -- something that ranges in cost from $350 to $1000. Apparently things are really tight in the Spelling-McDermott household right now.
"We're in the entertainment business, and things change year to year. We don't have a series on the air right now, so we have to be more restrictive of what we can spend, just like anyone who doesn't currently have a steady job," Tori explained.
Tori Spelling is broke for a number of reasons. For starters, the couple's reality show, "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" was canceled last year so they lost significant income from that. Then they tried to open a boutique called "InvenTORI" but that didn't do well. So the couple is living off of a few other income streams that keep them going -- like book revenue and clothing/jewelry line.
"It's no mystery why I have money problems. I grew up rich beyond anyone's dreams. Even when I try to embrace a simpler lifestyle, I can't seem to let go of my expensive taste and then there's my little shopping problem ... I can't afford to live like this anymore. Our circumstances have changed," Tori candidly writes in her new memoir, "Spelling It Like It Is."
If Tori Spelling is broke to the point where she can't afford for Dean to have vasectomy that sounds like a more serious problem than just a bump in the road. Will these two be the next celebrity couple to file for bankruptcy?
