Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have a long road ahead of them if they are serious about saving the marriage. Cheating rumors broke just before Christmas and things have been downhill ever since. Emily Goodhand went to the press and revealed she had an affair with McDermott while he was in Toronto at the beginning of the month. Recently it was reported that Spelling told him to get help or get out and just one day later, McDermott checked himself into rehab. According to a Jan. 26 report from People, Dean McDermott checking himself into rehab is not going to be a fix all for his marriage to Tori Spelling. She is incredibly hurt and it will take time to heal.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have four young children together. Their marriage has been rocked with financial problems in the past but have managed to stay together. When the affair was revealed, Spelling was rocked to the core. She believed that McDermott was faithful and this shattered her trust completely. While she held her head high in public, she was taking it hard behind the scenes. McDermott announced his rehab stint and chalked it up to health and personal issues. Fans are assuming he may be being treated for a sex addiction.

While this is a step in the right direction for Dean McDermott it is not a fix-all for his marriage to Tori Spelling. It will take a while to be able to cope with the reality of everything but fans are pretty sure that Spelling will stand behind her husband.
