My Walt Disney World Travel Examiner page is filled with lots of valuable travel tips for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. However, there are so many tips, I find it difficult to fit it all in a single article. That is why you will see multiple articles about Disney vacation planning. Some may have similar or repeat information, but that means those are just the important items you need to focus on. These tips will only help enhance and make your Disney vacation that much more magical.
So here we go, once again, another Disney vacation planning article.
When planning your Disney vacation it is important that you select the time of year you travel very carefully. Do some research before making your plans official. My Examiner.com site is a good resource, but you also have WDWMagic.com, Passporter.com and the official Walt Disney World Page at DisneyWorld.com. All of these offer great tips on planning your vacation, including when the busy times are, when parks offer Extra Magic Hours and any special events. You will also want to consider average temperatures and rainfall averages, because this may hinder your Disney vacation.
Note that during busier times of year Disney adds extra entertainment schedules, so there is more to see.
Understand the different types of tickets available and different options you can add to the tickets. Be familiar with how to use each type of theme park ticket. This will help you better understand the passes and determine which one is best suited for your upcoming and future vacation needs.
Know before you go. Download a list of both the height requirements and refurbishment list before even leaving for your Disney vacation. This will help you avoid disappointment when an attraction is closed or a little one is too short to ride the attraction they want to.
Download and study all park calendars (including extra magic hours), maps, parade, fireworks and entertainment schedules. This will better help you map out your day and entire vacation.
The best tip I can give at this point is to be prepared. Know what you want from your Disney vacation and plan it around your vacation wants.
