9. Driving is where my kids get a lot of their homework and reading done.
8. I don’t want to cause another driver to get into a wreck because she’s watching MY television instead of the road!
7. If my kids have to have a movie on to keep them entertained all the time, what is that really teaching them?
6. A lot of bonding/fighting and conflict management takes place in the car.
5. We wouldn’t get to listen to our Alphabet Island tape!
4. I’d never hear about what happened at my kids’ school.
3. I’d try to WATCH the tv while driving. Come on, admit you’ve tried it at least once!
2. On long trips, I just throw the 13 inch tv/vcr unit in the van and after 15 hours of movie viewing everyone’s eyes aren’t red and tired from viewing an itty, bitty screen.
1. Why spend a ridiculous amount of money for something you’re already trying to get your kids to do less of?
