American Idol ran an extended episode March 7, 2013 on Fox channel 10 in Phoenix as the world learned who made it to the top ten. It was an exciting night for fans and contestants alike. If you missed the episode the top ten finalist list is below (in no particular order). Making it into the top ten is more than bragging rights. A top ten spot insures the contestants that they will be touring the country this summer performing fan favorites for everyone to see in live concert. It also insures they have a little more than 15 minutes of fame. Whether they win or lose the whole competition they will continue to perform a little while longer.
