The Easter bunny is making quite a few appearances across Connecticut in March. Below is a list of the top locations and activities to bring your family this season to meet the Easter bunny.
- Old Mystic Village Easter Egg Hunt will be hosting their annual Easter event on March 30, 2013. Bring your family for the chance to find hidden Easter eggs and meet the Easter bunny. From 12-1pm children ages 2 and younger can have the chance to meet Mr. Bunny at the gazebo. At 2:15pm 3-4 year olds will get their chance to find the best eggs at the apple orchard. Children ages 5-7 will begin at 12:30pm and ages 8-10 at 12:45pm. All children can meet Mr. Bunny at the gazebo after the Easter egg hunt.
- Hop aboard the trolley at The Shore Line Trolley Museum for your chance to meet the Easter bunny. On March 23rd, 24th, 29th, and 30th families are invited to ride a vintage trolley that will stop to meet the Easter bunny. Each child will receive a small gift. - Stamford Museum & Nature Center will host the 9th annual Heckscher Farm Egg Hunt on March 30, 2013. The museum is located at 39 Scofieldtown Road in Stamford, CT. From 10am-12pm guests can search for hundreds of hidden eggs around Heckscher Farm. This event is free and for children ages 6 and younger. At the end of the event children can trade in their eggs for a goodie bag. It is suggested that children bring their own basket to collect eggs. For more information call (203) 322-1646.
- The Easter bunny will make a special appearance at the Danbury Railway Museum on March 25th and 31st and April 1st, 6th, and 7th. Ride along the Easter Bunny Express Train every 30 minutes from 12:30-3:30pm, which will make a stop along the way to meet the bunny. All ages are welcome. Children will receive a special gift from the Easter bunny. Coloring and temporary tattoos are additional activities available for kids at the museum. Admission cost is $9 for children 2 and over; children 2 and under are free.
