Top of the Market San Diego for Valentine’s Day and Chef Recipe

It’s always tough to find the exact right place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. There’s plenty to choose from and based on where your relationship may have started to where it may be going, there’s a ton of options to think about.

In a recent survey about where the best place to celebrate Valentine’s Day was, respondents came up with all kinds of ideas from heart-shaped pizza from Papa John’s to shout outs for Taco Bell and Big Boy as well as White Castle. Some people wanted to bring their children along, while others said they would prefer to dine alone. Others thought their dog would make the perfect guest. All interesting choices, but I think I’ve got you covered this year with something fool proof.

If you live near San Diego, California I have a suggestion for you. Spend some quality time at Top of the Market with Chef Ivan Flowers and Somm Anne Estrada. The food and wine pairing dance these two do is to die for. I can tell you this, this is a goof proof choice as you have three days 14th, 15th & 16th to get there and celebrate and try out the prix fixed Valentine’s menu.

An affordable (not cheap, but not break the bank either) menu, white table cloths, and a killer view should just about put you in your significant others best graces for a very long time. This place appeals to both men and women. No comments like “I can’t believe [place your significant others name here] choose this place for Valentine ’s Day.” One mouthful of amazing curisine, one sip of beautiful wine and you’re sure to be golden for the year. I can see asking for a get of the dog house card for planning this event.
