The NFL is here in Richmond, Virginia: as a matter of fact me and many of my neighbors watched it go up, the new Redskins training site that is. I watched and wondered if everything would arrive in time: you can't play football without turf which did arrive on schedule. The Redskins arrived to a beautiful practice facility in late July. In late Winter in March of this year there wasn't any sign of life at all on the site which is just off Broad Street. Training camp went off successfully this Summer.
A month and a half later and I'm down in Florida and wondering if anything new is going on in the NFL to interest fans so I perused and found those teasers to get you to the game: the cheerleaders. Their outfits are mostly very alluring: for most of the teams they are. I found the New York Jets cheerleader outfits very unimaginative, but they were the rare exception.
Dallas's cheerleaders were awesome looking maybe because the Dallas Cowboys colors of pale blue and silver are very alluring. The Minnesota Vikings have beautiful outfits that display the teams colors of purple and black. The Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders are outfitted in red and black. The New York Jets, perhaps, got a bad deal having to make something fashionable and hip out of green and white. Tampa Bay has colors similar to the Falcons: red and black. The Indianapolis Colts have blue and white as their team colors, similar to Dallas. The Houston Texans have red and black as their colors and their designers worked with that.
Of course without a good cheerleader squad that is synchronized it doesn't matter what the women wear because they are there to cheer even if you and I watching on television don't experience that.
In the spirit of complete coverage of the NFL I'm reporting on the cheerleaders and will show as many photos as I can find.
