Over the next eight weeks, we will rank every NFL franchise, 1-32 in terms of their overall success in the last ten years (2002-2011). This week we will start with teams ranking No.’s 32-29.
#32, Buffalo Bills
65 regular season wins
No 10 + win seasons
No Wild Card berths
No Division championships
No Conference championships
No Super Bowl championships
Sadly, the Bills are the only NFL team to not make the playoffs in the past ten years. On the flip side, they do have some young, talented players on both sides of the ball heading into next season.
#31, Detroit Lions
47 regular season wins
One 10 + win season (2011)
One Wild Card berth (2011)
No Division championships
No Conference championships
No Super Bowl championships
After years of being arguably the worst franchise in all of pro sports, the Lions are positioned to be contender for years to come.
#30, Cleveland Browns
56 regular season wins
One 10 + win season (2007)
One Wild Card berth (2002)
No Division championships
No Conference championships
No Super Bowl championships
The city of Cleveland deserves a winner but the Browns have been a bad team most the decade. Playing the AFC North doesn’t help their chances next season.
#29, Washington Redskins
65 regular season wins
One 10 + win season (2005)
Two Wild Card berths (2007, 2005)
No Division championships
No Conference championships
No Super Bowl championships
This proud franchise has struggled in the past ten years, struggling to keep up with NFC East foes Dallas, New York and Philadelphia. As for the here and now, they seem a year or two away from netting a playoff spot.
