Top Little Five Points shows of the week

There's plenty of neighborhood music news to report, so let's get right to it!

Dog Bite at Star Bar

If you're going to one of the Portlandia: The Musical shows tomorrow then it's only right to spend the rest of the night at Star Bar. The weekly free Thursday show includes a member of the group who concocted the opening theme song to Portlandia: the show (see what I did there?!), Dog Bite of Washed Out, providing his own chillwave tunes. Coming back to Star Bar to open is Mirror Mode plus others like Factory and Divine Interface.

"Send Us To SXSW" Party at Star Bar

It's that time of the year again, where the neighborhood is swamped with SXSW fundraising music shows! Fortunately, no one's complaining, right? Last year was an unforgettable SXSW Send-Off at Star Bar, and this year they look to host another great party. This time around the line-up includes Gun Party, Ocha La Rocha and Stokeswood.
