The best graduate schools to attend have been listed by U.S. News on Tuesday. The list is well worth examining for persons interested in pursuing a graduate school degree.

It has been reported by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics that the fastest job growth through 2020 is projected in occupations assigned to the master’s degree level. Such occupations are projected to grow by 21.7 percent.

The school listed in the latest rakings by U.S. News take into consideration the graduate schools which focus on business, law, medicine, education, and engineering. Additionally, specialties in each of the major areas are encompassed as well.

The rankings are determined by the schools’ having the five main disciplines listed above, as well as being determined by standardized test score of the new students, opinions on each program’s quality as given by experts, acceptance rates, and other criteria. Criteria for rating each graduate program differs. For example, the state bar exam passage rate is used to determine law.
