'Top Gear' series 19 set for BBC America premiere

It's been a day of premiere exclusives! Fans of the ultra-popular, long-running BBC car series "Top Gear" can finally set their calendars. BBC America announced Wednesday by press release, that the network will air the series 19 premiere of the show on February 4th.

This season, among other highlights, presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will go on an extended road trip through the United States in high-powered super cars. The intrepid hosts will then venture to Africa in a search for the source of the Nile River, using station wagons as their main source of transportation.

Fans of the Showtime drama "Homeland" can tune in to the "Top Gear" season premiere to see star Damian Lewis take a lap around the test track as the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car'.

Denver area fans of "Top Gear" can watch the season premiere on Feb 4th on BBC America (channel 162 for Denver Comcast subscribers), starting at 9:00pm ET/PT. Looking to catch up on previous seasons of the show? Many local retailers like Barnes and Noble and Best Buy carry the DVD's of series 10 through 18.
