Who hasn't wanted to be Tanner Foust? Or take to the Top Gear track like The Stig? Now you can get one step closer with a nifty new piece of equipment for the next time you get behind the wheel.

At last week's E3 Expo, racing simulator company PlaySeat revealed that they have partnered with production house BBC Worldwide North America to produce a pair of Top Gear branded gaming seats. You likely won't look as cool as Tanner did while testing one out at E3, but you'll have the tools to improve your performance on the virtual track.

The Playseat Evolution Top Gear is designed for the in-home gamer, and will retail for $399. The fully adjustable seat is made from high-quality vinyl and features Top Gear branding.

For public gaming, there's the Playseat Xtreme Elite Top Gear, which retails for $1,950. It is tailored to a "true racing position" and includes a specialized tilting mechanism so that the video screen remains aligned with the player's steering wheel at all times. Like its private-use counterpart, it also has Top Gear branding.

Both models are compatible with a variety of racing games across multiple platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Wii, Wii U, PC and Mac, and are billed as working with all currently available wheels and pedals on the market.

Previously, Playseat has designed simulators for the Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo gaming franchises, as well as licensed models with NASCAR superstars Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Top Gear has contributed to several incarnations of Forza, with involvement from both its UK and US versions. UK host Jeremy Clarkson contributed his voice to Forza's Autovista feature and the UK Top Gear test track was a playable track in Forza Motorsport 4. US hosts Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood then appeared in commercials for Forza Motorsport 5.

The Top Gear Playseats will be available starting in July 2014. You can't yet pre-order them online, but you can view the existing Playseat catalog at the company's official website (
