Adding to the ghoulish Halloween season, a fascination with dressing up as dead celebrities, is trending as a popular way to express oneself during the spooky holiday.
Judging by the amount of Internet searches, pop star Michael Jackson and actress Farrah Fawcett, both recently deceased, are two of the top Halloween costume choices this season, according to Jalem Getz, CEO of the parent company of BuyCostumes.com.
Historically, Halloween was a day of blessing and remembrance for the departed, so dressing up as stars, who have passed away, can be construed as an honor to them, rather than a morbid trend.
