Top female Canadian Olympians at 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi

According to Kaya Turski's twitter account on Monday, Turski, of Montreal has arrived at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games and is "stoked" to compete.

Turski came back from having knee surgery to win the 2014 Winter X Games in Aspen and seems to be in top form with the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi set to begin this week.

At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Team Canada won 26 medals of which 14 were gold and 15 were won by Canadian female athletes.

At the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, the early projections are that Team Canada will win 29 medals, with 17 of those medals Canadian female making contributions. The gold medal favourites are bobsledders Kaillie Humphries of Calgary and Heather Moyse of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, curler Jennifer Jones' team from Winnipeg, slopestyle skier Kaya Turski of Montreal and ski cross racer Marielle Thompson of Courtenay, British Columbia.
