The Diversity Inc Top 10 Companies for People With Disabilities includes several companies with ties to the Dallas area.
All of the top ten company have employee resource groups for people with disabilities. Each company formally recruits people with disabilities and all work hard to keep their employees.
The number one employer on the list is IBM.
According to Barbara Frankel, "IBM's inclusive attitude toward employees with disabilities extends to the senior-most levels of the company. What sets IBM apart is that its efforts aren't just about bringing in people with disabilities but are also focused on creating global opportunities for advancement."
