'Top Chef:' Surprising elimination

On Wednesday night’s episode of “Top Chef” Carrie won immunity via the Quickfire Challenge, and then they moved on to the Elimination Challenge where the chefs were given the task of cooking a dish suitable for college students at LSU. They were made to sleep in the dorms and then cook for at total of 500 students.

Then, it was time for the dinners at the Elimination Challenge and there was much drama throughout the cooking and serving, also several excuses as to why the end product wasn’t up to par with the initial intention. But Carlos, Brian, and Shirley were at the top, with Shirley being the winner of the challenge.

The bottom three were Justin, Stephanie, and Nina, surprisingly so, because they have all been at the top and seemed to have created the best dishes in many other challenges. And at the end to the amazement of all watching, Justin was sent home, that is a terrible blow to the outcome of this cooking show, because Justin appeared as one of the three competing at the finale.

“Top Chef” runs on Wednesday night at 10:00 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
