'Top Chef:' Only immunity saved the worse chef of the night

On Wednesday night’s episode Nicholas won immunity on the Quickfire Challenge after successfully replicating Chef Jacques Pepin dish, -dover sole with artichokes and asparagus-; that he prepared for the chefs first and then asked them to imitate his creation.

Then came the Elimination Challenge that called for the 6 remaining chefs to be divided into two teams and prepare a 5-course meal from either France or Spain, and they would cook under the tutelage of renowned chefs Julian Serrano, -Spanish cuisine-, and Dominique Crenn, -French cuisine-.

Then judgment time arrive and the winning team was Spain the 3 chefs in this team were Brian, Carlos, and Nina, and the latter was the best of the three chefs, and Team France made up of Shirley, Nicholas, and Stephanie was at the bottom but only because of Nicholas’ dish, however, he could not be eliminated because of immunity unless he would forfeit he chose not to, therefore Stephanie was eliminated; fair? No just the name of the game.

Top Chef” runs on Wednesday night at 10:00 p.m. on Bravo.
