Top Chef is turning 10 and kicking off a national casting tour to find a new crop of talented up and coming culinary artists to compete for the title of 'Top Chef'.
The Top Chef reality competition has a history of not just making the winners culinary stars, but the losers as well with quite a few losing chefs going on to do multiple TV interviews, cooking shows and some even got their own series. The chef who wins the show and the 'Top Chef' title gets a huge cash prize that they can use to open their own restaurant or other culinary endeavor.
Top Chef casting directors will be in Los Angeles on March 2nd. Los Angeles is the last stop in the casting tour. Casting for the show kicks off in New York February 21st 2012.
The bar gets higher with every season and fans of the show like myself, can't wait to see what the 10th anniversary of the show will bring.
The Foundry will once again host the call in L.A. on Friday, March 2, 2012. All chefs are asked to come prepared with the application and a DVD video of why you think you would be perfect for the show.
