If watching the Australian Open has you in the mood to see live action, head over to the Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville this weekend. That's where the top juniors in the Northern Section's Boys 18s will be competing. The event, which gets under way Friday, Jan. 29, 2010,  is free and open to the public.

Newcomer to the Section, Nelson Vick, a five-star recruit heading to Ohio State, is the top seed . Only the top 16 boys are eligible to compete in this level-four event. Wyatt McCoy, a state champion as a seventh-grader, is seeded second, followed by Hamish Weerasinghe, a four-star recruit  headed to Bradley University. There will also be doubles action before the event concludes on Sunday, Jan. 31.
