Top 8 Pro Tour 'Gatecrash' deck list: Jund by Owen Turtenwald

2 Staff of Nin
2 Strangleroot Geist
1 Tragic Slip
2 Underworld Connections

The deck packs a powerful array of threats. Huntmaster of the Fells, Olivia Voldaren, and Thragtusk cannot go unanswered. Liliana of the Veil can be an absolute house and Garruk, Primal Hunter will either make an army of tokens or refill your hand, providing additional gas or a game ending Rakdos's Return.

Kessig Wolf Run helps the deck "get there" in the late game. Against an aggro-based metagame, there's just nothing like Bonfire of the Damned. It's interesting to note that Turtenwald hasn't dropped it for Mizzium Mortars, despite the addition of Frontline Medic to the metagame.

Staff of Nin and Underworld Connections are two notable cards from the sideboard to bring in against control matches. Both cards can help give the Jund player much needed card advantage when facing down board sweepers like Supreme Verdict.
