You can make a last minute Halloween costume in as little as one minute. There is no reason to go out and spend your hard-earned cash money on a costume you may end up throwing in the trash. Now is the time to start being creative and having fun making things on your own with do-it-yourself projects.
Making last minute Halloween costumes for men, women or kids for Halloween 2011 does not take much effort at all. Plus, because the costume is for some last minute party, it does not have to be fancy because nobody expects that much.
1. Witch costume for women. This costume is very easy of you already have a black dress, like most women do. After the dress, simply put your hair up in a scary way, grab a little broom and you are ready to go.
2. Pirate costume for men or women. This one is really easy. Find an old black shirt or cloth and cut out an eye patch. Then put on a red shirt and dark pants. Finally, make a pirate sword out of cardboard and aluminum foil.

5. Ghost costume for kids. This is the oldest, cheapest and easiest costume in the world. Find an old white mattress sheet and cut out some eye holes for your child to see through. Then add some extra flair to this fun ghost costume.
6. Number one sports fan. Are you or your child a fan of a local sports team? If so, put on your favorite team's shirts or gear and show your local pride.
7. Princess costume. If you have a cute daughter, go and find her fanciest dress and you will have a perfect princess costume for Halloween 2011. You can also create a tiara or wand to add some flair.
8. Solider costume for boys. Boys often love dressing up and playing soldiers. You can make this costume by dressing them in camouflage pants. But please do not give them any toy guns to carry because this can be dangerous.
