Consistently the most popular new year's resolution won't require you to give up fast food.
1.Portion control – Pare down from that large to a medium. Does anyone actually need a large? Your afternoon to-do list will thank you later.
2.Skip the fries, or only go fries. - Fries. Mmm those can be the tastiest part, but also the deadliest. Deep fried, grease slathered, salt coated; there is virtually no health benefit to these cholesterol sticks. So if you indulge, keep it there.
3.Value Menu – Instead of opting for a whole meal, complete with weighty soda and fries, mix and match the few smaller items you enjoy the most. This keeps your wallet and waistline trim.
4.Skip soda – This relates to the value menu, but it's so crucial it's worth another say: soda is liquid candy. Empty calories. A teeth-rotting, physique-shattering toxin.
5.Chipotle, Panda Xpress, Panera, and Wendy's – These are the stand out fast food restaurants in delivering a wide assortment of healthful choices.
6.Timing – It's 11:30 at night, you're on your way home, and oooh, a cheeseburger would just hit the spot right about now, easing you to a contented sleep. Resist. Your metabolism slows down significantly after 7 pm and late night munchies make an atrocious weight loss choice.
7. Share – It's all sorts of good resolutions rolled into one. Engage a giving spirit when it comes to fast food, and the scale will give back.
