Top 50 albums of the decade, part six: the rankings and also-rans

Last week, I ran a list of the top fifty albums of the decade as chosen by myself and fellow music enthusiastic Calle Fitzgerald. The two of us created separate top fifty lists and generally kept them secret from each other until the big list burst forth from those loins. We're only two people, and save for some coincidental parallels and a few repeat albums and artists, our two lists were very different, so we opted not to rank the main fifty. Still, we wouldn't feel right not showcasing where those albums placed and the rest of our lists, so as a conclusion to our decade-end project, today we will present our two indivual lists (along with 30 also-rans each).

Ranking all this would have driven me insane, but you guys made some excellent choices! I was pumped to see Julieta Venegas make Calle's list, as she's still kind of an underground figure to US listeners. You guys should both check out her MTV Unplugged album if you get the chance. It's really extraordinary!
    Good work!
