Top 5 ways to get into the flow and let in what you want [VIDEO]

Being in the flow, or in the vortex, as Abraham-Hicks would put it, is the surest way to pave the way for your desires to become reality. Here are five proven practices that will help you apply Law of Attraction principles to your life and get you into the vortex.

  1. Clean and declutter your home – Getting rid of junk and rearranging what’s left over does wonders to clear blockages . Open yourself up to more of what you want by going through your closets, your kitchen, your bathroom(s), and especially if you work from home, your desk. Vacuum up those dust bunnies and notice not only how much lighter your space looks, but how much lighter YOU feel.
  2. Look at the bright side – direct your thoughts to the silver lining when faced with a challenge. Consider the gift inherent in the situation, which might be something as simple as learning a valuable lesson to approach things differently next time.
  3. Get into nature – taking a walk in a park or on the beach will do. Allow the stillness and the deep pull of the greenery or the sea and sand to work their magic on you by breathing deeply and focusing on your breath and, if feasible, on your surroundings. This may be difficult if you are in a very busy area of the park or beach, so try to find a place where there are not too many distractions.
  4. Sing, dance, play a musical instrument or listen to music you love. Enjoying music is a wonderful, effective way to shift to a more allowing state of mind. You will feel good and probably be more productive in the process, too.
  5. Write lists of Positive Aspects -- this can be done on random sheets of paper but it's more user-friendly to get a notebook, label it "Book of Positive Aspects," and then carry it with you. Across the top of the first page, write "Positive Aspects of ________." Fill in the blank with a person, place, thing that is giving you challenges. Write down every positive aspect about this person, place, thing or situation. In doing so, you will shift your focus on this issue and ergo, your point of attraction on the subject. Note: in the thick of your upset or frustration, finding positive aspects may be difficult. Some questions that might get you going are:
  • What do or did I like about this person? What is their intention in this situation?
  • When have I ever liked this type of place? How is it useful/helpful to my purposes?
  • What led me here in the first place? Why did I like this person, place or thing? Do I still appreciate these same qualities?
