The exclusive game lineup for the Playstation 3 has really improved over the last two years with big hits like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, LittleBigPlanet, Valkyria Chronicles, Killzone 2, Demon’s Souls, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and much more. 2010 seems like more of the same with many PS3-only titles slated for the first-half of the year alone. Here are the top five upcoming Playstation 3 exclusives in 2010.
5. Heavy Rain
First seen in 2006, Heavy Rain will finally come out in early 2010. This cinematic game makes use of a context-sensitive control scheme to tell an engrossing and thrilling tale about the so-called “origami killer.” Furthermore, the story contains multiple paths, which will add plenty of replayability to the game. With stunning graphics to boot, Heavy Rain should be another killer exclusive game on the Playstation 3.
4. Yakuza 3
Although the Yakuza series are critically-acclaimed, the games sell poorly in North America. Despite that, Sega has decided to localize the third main title in the series. Yakuza 3 on the Playstation 3 not only improve the graphics from the previous games, but it also adds plenty of new gameplay elements like a seamless battle system in addition to a new chase mode. Yakuza 3 is shaping up to be the best game in the series yet and one of the best exclusive titles on the Playstation 3 in 2010.
3. Gran Turismo 5
It has been 5 years since the release of Gran Turismo 4 on the Playstation 2. The long wait for racing fans will be worth it, however, as Gran Turismo 5 will come packed with a thousand cars painstakingly modeled in high-definition. Not to mention that the game has plenty of features like damage, day/night cycle, head-tracking, weather effects, 16-players online races and more. Gran Turismo 5 will easily be the best racing game on the Playstation 3 when it comes out this year.
2. God of War III
The first two God of War games managed to push the Playstation 2 hardware to its limits with incredible graphics. God of War III is looking like it will have the same effect on the Playstation 3 thanks to colossal moving levels, grandiose setting, massive menacing enemies and incredible details. Add in the fact that the satisfying combat and intuitive puzzle elements will return as well and you will have the most epic and visceral God of War game yet.
1. The Last Guardian
Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are considered to be two of the best games on the Playstation 2. The Last Guardian combines elements from both of these masterpieces to create a completely original yet equally as immersive experience. Although not much is know about the game yet other than it looks absolutely phenomenal, the developer’s portfolio ensures that it will be another masterpiece. The Last Guardian is the best upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive in 2010.

I find it hard to believe that The Last Guardian is ranked higher than Gran Turismo 5. Don't get me wrong, The Last Guardian is one of my anticipated games as well, but this is Gran Turismo we're talking about here.
Well, these are opinions from people like you and me. I don't like racer sims and maybe they don't like them as much as you do. Last guardian is a good choice too.
No mention of Final Fantasy XIII? Really?
@Biggidy Bam the article is about ps3 exclusives and sadly ff13 is not a exclusive, although there should been some mention of versus 13, or is that not stated for 2010 anymore...
i really hope agent and the last guardian do come out this year but i seriously doubt they will.
especially agent since they already have a very similar title in LA Noire, theres no way there going to release that and Agent in the same year.
not to mention all the other games R* are due to release this year.
in fact i hope Agent is not out this year because i really want it to be perfect.
the more time they spend making it and polishing it the better.
I'd put White Knight Chronicles in the list instead of Yakuza 3, also, GT 5 should be top.
However there's no doubting it, once again Sony has the best exclusive lineup for the year by a country mile.
