Top 5 signs Obama's policies don't work

5) After seven years straight without a single terrorist attack on American soil, it is only since Obama took office and began "healing the rifts" between Islam and the West that we have been repeatedly attacked.

4) As even the Washington Post confirms, the only times we have actually acquired useful intelligence from a terrorist are when we have abandoned the Obama approach and resorted to college hazing rituals like water-boarding.

3) As I have noted, both Iran and North Korea are far more dangerous and defiant now under Obama than they have ever been under previous administrations.

2) Obama's insistence on misapplying the constitutional rights of U.S. citizens to foreign terrorists at war with this country mirrors the disastrous ACLU approach that got us attacked on 9/11 and can only lead to more al Qaida operatives being released.

It is worth noting that we have already had to re-capture dozens of released Gitmo detainees on the battlefield (as I document in my book), including two new al Qaida leaders behind Friday's would-be Detroit bombing. Obama has already released 75 such terrorists from Gitmo.

1) Obama's refusal to profile those who have committed virtually 100% of the attacks on our airlines (young, Arab, Muslim men) continues to keep us from preventing attacks (9/11, Fort Hood, Detroit, etc.).

There is a flaw in your suggested profile: Abdulmutallab was not an Arab. Young educated Muslims of any ethnicity with any connection however tenuous to any region in which Al Qaeda is active or to any imam known to advocate violent jihad would be a more useful profile.

"College hazing rituals"? What college did you go to that hazed you with simulated drowning or prolonged sleep deprivation? Even the counter-terrorism experts admit they don't know if torture is actually effective, or if they would have gotten the same information using less barbaric means.

Also your "facts" are not completely accurate. Richard Reid's attempted attack was during the Bush administration. The 2 foiled plots started outside the U.S., so Obama had no control.

I went to The University of Science Music and Culture at Parris Island water boarding is college style hazing when done properly.

But here's proof, those that protest water boarding routinely demonstrate how it is done during their protests, now if it was harmful and illegal why can they do it to their own people without any ill effects?

errrr ahhhh "because they know what is going to happen to them?"

As if these terrorists don't know that if captured they are going to be waterboarded or deprived of sleep?

I guarantee that as part of their training they are told they will be "tortured" by our people

Any one who has ever learned to swim has suffered similar effects of what happens with waterboarding. Granted, it is not pleasant to have water up your nose, but do we then punish parents for making their children learn to swim.

hey, K.P., tell ya what. Meet me at Nick Rowe's SERE Course at Camp McCall and we'll let you experience real waterboarding.

See if you woof that sh!t then.

SERE demonstrates it to SOF members as TORTURE of the kind you could receive as a prisoner. The jerkoffs who used SERE as an interrogation manual should be in jail.

And Moon, you conveniently ignore that KSM admitted that most of what he gave post-torture was lies - and that the CIA IG and FBI both agree the most useful stuff came from him before he was subjected to 'enhanced interrogation techniques.'

Seven years without an attack? The failed attack that happened over Christmas were similar to many failed attacks during the last seven years of the Bush presidency. Remmeber the shoe bomber? Remember the liquid bombers?

You seemed to miss the part in the Washington Post article where the terrorist admits most of his "intellegence" was, in fact, lies.

Most of the Gitmo detainees released were by the Bush administration.

Water boarding is a cruel and dangerous form of torture. It isn’t simulated drowning: it is actual drowning under conditions that allow a skilled torturer to usually avoid actually killing the subject. However, death, stroke, and heart attacks easily happen during water boarding. That’s why the USA executed Japanese water boarding torturers after WW II, and why there have been domestic convictions for water boarding torturers. Fools only started defending water boarding after it leaked that the Bush administration did it.

I agree we should quit water boarding. An eye for an eye and head for a head. Why do Americans worry about a little water and they overlook what our enemy does. Get them to quit cutting heads off and then I'll care about the water boarding,

I think it would have happened sooner or later, it is just that this baboon's behind in office that just made it all happen sooner. The thing we don't realize is that Islam means eternal war. Normal people become war weary. We are dealing with a religion that has religiously sanctioned lying and sanctioned murder/suicide so the Jihadists can get their pathetic behinds into their orgy in the sky.

Anyone who thinks this will stop with a different President is only kidding themselves. We have politicians, a military and secuity agencies who are still ignorant behind what is the driving force of all of this and they haven't even addressed the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood is tied to all of this. The MSA/MSU is the recruiting arm, al Qaeda and Hamas etc are the military arm, and many others work in cahoots with the MB, ie: MPAC, ICNA, ISNA, CAIR, MSA, Wahabbis, etc.

"No terrorist attacks on Bush's watch after 9/11? What about Richard Reid? Or the Anthrax murders?"

If the Republicans are going to count Ft. Hood as one on Obama's watch, then the DC sniper should count against Bush. I lived in DC while W and crew sat back and did nothing while those two extremists were picking off people like it was target ... See Morepractice (right in their own backyard). It was one of the scariest times of my life (not being able to go to the grocery store or pump gas without being afraid of having your head blown off). Bush caught no heat for any of this stuff but now all the sudden if anything happens its Obama’s fault. I don’t get it.

Oh and don’t get me started on 9-11. The dumb ass monkey was walking around with the memos in his hand detailing how extremists were in Florida learning how to fly planes but had NO desire to learn how to land them. Hmmm....something tells me if we had a smart guy in office like Reagan, Clinton, Gore or Obama they would’ve

Actually, the quote was, "seven years straight without a single terrorist attack ON AMERICAN SOIL." The shoe bomber attacked a plane from France as it flew over the Atlantic.

And the Anthrax attack was a random American military researcher with no terrorist ties or intent. By your logic here, every time someone goes postal, it's to be counted as no different from an al Qaida attack.

Also, liberals worked very hard to convince the world that the D.C. sniper had nothing whatsoever to do with Islamic extremism. You can't have it both ways. Was he a terrorist or just some random guy on a killing spree?

As for your hysteria over some obscure memo about Arab immigrants attending a flight school, that is not even in the same ballpark as a Nigerian man repeatedly telling the U.S. embassy (in a post-9/11 world) that his son had been radicalized, joined al Qaida and planned to blow up a plane heading for America on Christmas Day.

    Give me a break.
