Despite USA’s loss to Germany in the latest World Cup soccer match, the team will move on to play Belgium at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1. And, if you have caught World Cup fever along with everyone else, Raleigh has plenty of restaurants to catch all the games and to cheer on your favorite team.

On game days, The Oxford features half-off appetizers from noon until 6 p.m..On Wednesday through Sunday, draft beers are $ 1 off. And, World Cup matches are shown on all the televisions, including the big screen projector.

2. Tyler’s Taproom

Tyler’s bonafide selection of beers and its good bar food (get the famous fried pickles) make it a prime spot for watching the World Cup. Raleigh’s location in Seaboard Station features plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so finding a table shouldn’t be too difficult.

3. Player’s Retreat

Player’s Retreat boasts 18 televisions and a rotating list of daily food and drink specials. Around since 1951, the restaurant and bar is a longtime Raleigh mainstay and there may be no better place to catch USA versus Belgium on Tuesday.

Tir Na Nog has touted itself as the World Cup headquarters. The restaurant and bar features nine HDTV’s and two HD movie screens. On game days, Tir Na Nog features draft beer and food specials.
