4J Studios put out a call to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition fans for which games they would like to see featured in future Mash-Up Packs. The developer revealed the top five requested mash-ups Tuesday with the promise to work with Mojang and the property holders to make these wishes a reality.
The studio plans to take these requests to Mojang business guy Daniel Kaplan and Microsoft Studios producer Roger Carpenter to see what kind of deals can be worked out to create Mash-Up Packs for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft in the future.
Mash-Up Packs are a combination of textures, skins, music and re-skinned user interface that revolve around other games. This includes a Themed World or the ability for players to create their own with the same look. The first Mash-Up Pack is Mass Effect and will be released Wednesday, Sept. 4 for $3.99 (320 MS Points).
