Top 5 Places To See Celebrities at San Diego Comic-Con

This weekend San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing which begs the question, where is the best place to see celebrities at SDCC?

Of course anyone can see a celeb at a panel or an autograph signing, but what if you want to see them in a more impromptu setting and maybe have a chance to actually meet them?

Here are the best places in San Diego to scope out the stars this weekend:

1)Hilton Bayfront Hotel

Most of the Con’s press events are held at the Hilton, which means that before they head to their panels at the San Diego Convention Center, most of the biggest stars attending the con can be found at the Hilton. Most leave out a side entrance next to the parking garage. We've seen dozens of stars in this spot and most are more than willing to give a wave or pose for photos with fans.

2) Omni Hotel

Located across the street from the San Diego Convention Center, the Omni is a popular place for celebs to stay. It is also often used for parties throughout the weekend. The entrance is easily accessible, right off the street and a great place to catch a glimpse of the stars.

3) San Diego Convention Center

Some fans have had luck waiting across the street from the back exit of the Convention Center. Celebs tend to arrive and leave from the back of the building and will sometimes stop and wave or take a quick pic with fans.

4) Hard Rock Cafe

The Hard Rock Cafe, located across the street from the Omni, has become a popular place for events and movie premieres throughout the festival. I've seen lots of stars leave or arrive at events here, during the day and at night.

5) Residence Inn Downtown San Diego

This year, the Marriott Residence Inn has been a hotbed of celeb activity as many stars are using it as a home base while in town, too.
