This is a list the best new movies to see for the weekend of Friday, July 20, to Sunday, July 22. Without a doubt, "The Dark Knight Rises" is the most anticipated movie of this weekend, if not of the entire summer of 2012. If a superhero movie isn't your cup of tea or you're just not into Batman flicks, there are a few other movies worth checking out this weekend. - "The Dark Knight Rises": Rated PG-13, this new Batman movie is also touted as 'Batman 3'. Christian Bale returns as Batman and the cast also includes Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.
- "30 Beats": This New York based comedy/romance stars Lee Pase, Condola Rashad, Justin Kirk, Thomas Sadoski and Jennifer Tillly. It's described as " a light-hearted exploration of seduction, spontaneity and self-discovery that's as sultry and vibrant as the city in which it's set".
- "The Well Diggers Daughter": This film is a remake of a 1940s movie. It stars Daniel Auteuil as widower with six daughters. The film is set in France during World War I.
- "The Queen of Versailles": This critically acclaimed documentary film follows billionaire real estate mogul David Siegel and his wife Jackie Siegel during the economical crisis. Mr. Siegel has a defamation lawsuit regarding the way the documentary portrayed him.
