backsides. Cycling and interval workouts keep Alba's butt beautiful. (Source)
With paparazzi and media lining red carpet edges, celeb rearviews are a part of what comes and goes with the walk.
For a perky behind that's top of the line take these five strongly recommended tips from celeb trainers and celebs themselves.
- Have a ball. Using tools in your workout can cut the boredom and mix up your workout, causing the body to alter and adapt to a different environment. Singer Jessica Simpson uses one as a middle-man between her and a wall during squats, says trainer Harley Pasternak. Using a stability ball during workouts helps cushion the back, maintain form (tuck the pelvis) and works for sculpting the legs and glutes. Bored on the ball? Opt for an at-home pole installation used by celebrity Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett.
- All you gotta' do is dance. Fitness Magazine says boxer Laila Ali's fancy footwork on Dancing with the Stars required the same focus and intensity she finds in the ring. Boosting up your workouts with dance classes can help boost your booty power. Don't believe us? Ask Beyonce. The "Single Ladies" singer has reportedly been taking ballet classes to brush up on her dance skills and has a ballet booty to prove it. To see Beyonce's ballet booty, click here.
- Get a ride. Cycling is a great way to sculpt and work the butts, legs (and even abs!) into shape. Of course, we'll plug Lance Armstrong in the mix, but other celebrities who cycle include Jessica Alba, Andy Baldwin, Gisele Bundchen and Miley Cyrus.
- Set your marks. Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez and singer Sheryl Crow have all been spotted racing toward the finish line. Crow, who regularly cross-trains with running and cycling, is prepping for a 100-mile bike ride. She amps up the resistance on the stationary cycle so she can barely pedal, then brings it back down for interval training, says trainer Greg Bahnfleth. Lopez hit the trails when months after giving birth to twins Max and Emme, she planned her training sessions to prepare for the 22nd Annual Malibu Triathlon. Having a goal in front, keeps the rear from falling behind.
