Have you ever wondered whether it makes sense to purchase organic products? Most of us have. Organic products tend to be more expensive and in times like this, does it make sense to send the additional money? Dr. Veronica Boyer of Derma Health Institute compiled a list of the most toxic produce we can buy. This list is called 'the toxic 12'.
What does it mean to be toxic? It means these fruits and veggies carry high levels of pesticides on them, that contain toxic materials, which have been shown to cause everything from dizziness to cancer, as well as headaches, skin rashes, and liver toxicity. Bottom line, these are the most critical fruits and veggies to buy organic.

Nectarines; Strawberries; Cherries; Pears
Imported grapes; Spinach; Lettuce; Potatoes
So next time you are in the produce section of your grocery store, make sure to consider whether you are making the best choices.
