Looks like the Midwest is getting the best and worst luck when it comes to online love. Chicago is in the top 20 of Men's Health list for top 100 best locations to participate in online dating. Detroit is in the bottom.

Some of the other locations have smaller populations. The great thing about small cities is everyone knows each other, and it may lead to a friendlier atmosphere. What's the point of being shy when you see your crush everywhere you go?

The downside is everyone knows each other so they may be better off trying to date outside of their hometowns.
