Twilight Zone, the television series, premiered fifty years ago. The original series was created by Rod Serling who often inserted hidden gems of trivia about his company and personal life within the representation of Twilight Zone characters and setting. The episodes contained a little fantasy intertwined with science fiction wrapped up with a bit of trepidation often ending in a twist of shock and horror. They were quite compelling for the time and still cause reasonably animated conversation among old and young viewers when recalling favorite episodes. In celebration of this often eerie, enigmatic cultural phenomenon, the top ten episodes of the 156 original shows as chosen by registered members of tv.com have been paired with drink recipes that in some ‘twisted’ way relate to the theme of the episode. As a bit of trivia for the show in general, the term ‘Twilight Zone’ simply means ‘gray area’.
