It has come to my attention that not everyone knows about the gluten-free items available at Ingles, so this Examiner decided to share the list.

- GLUTEN-FREE TAGS - All stores feature special brown "GLUTEN FREE" tags. They recently changed the color of their gluten-free tags from green to brown to make them easier to spot in the aisles.
- ONLINE LIST - an online list of many of their gluten-free products
- GLUTEN-FREE SECTIONS - Most stores feature a dedicated gluten-free section on the Baking aisle.
- GLUTEN-FREE SUPPORT GROUPS - Their dietitian is regularly in contact with gluten-free support groups in TN, SC, NC and GA.
- LOW PRICES - Ingles consistently offers lower prices than specialty stores on most gluten-free items. We also feature at least one gluten free sales and promotion every year
- RADIO and TV SPOTS - Ingles is one of the few supermarket chains that has aired both radio and TV spots about the gluten free and celiac community.
- GLUTEN-FREE FAIRS - Ingles sponsors gluten-free events annually in NC, GA and TN. Ingles has served as a sponsor of the Atlanta Metro Celiacs gluten-free vendor fair for the last three years.
- GLUTEN-FREE COOKBOOKS - The book department/section at Ingles features gluten-free cookbooks.
