Two films debuted in theaters this weekend, Liam Neeson’s “Non-Stop” and the Christopher Spencer directed “Son of God.” Did you catch one of the new flicks this weekend, or stuck to something already at the movies? On Monday, March 3, the Box Office updated their charts to feature the top 10 movies of the weekend.

It’s no surprise that Liam Neeson came out on top this weekend with “Non-Stop,” as his films usually do. The flight drama brought in an estimated $30 million. Despite not having a big promotional push, “Son of God” opened second with $26.5 million.

Three time champion “The LEGO Movie” settled for number three with $21 million. The animated film has accumulated over $200 million worldwide, and has a sequel in the works.

Another animation that totally banked it is “Frozen.” Not only did it win big at the Oscars, but it has crossed a billion dollars worldwide. While a sequel was teased at the Oscars, nothing has been confirmed for another installment.
