The fourth tip for saving money in your kitchen and home this new year revolves around a local favorite: E&B Grocery.  The store on the Hwy. 42 Bypass sells discounted grocery goods at a reduced price.  Some of them have damaged packing or expired dates, but many of the items you find there are in perfectly good condition.  They have a great stock and always have something new to offer their customers.  Personally, I have found great deals on Jello, prepackaged cereals, dried pastas, meats (in bulk packages) and spices.

One of the best things about the store is that you simply never know what to expect from E&B.  Dried pastas of all shapes and sizes, even some not easily found in our local grocery and warehouse stores, are a common find there.  Also, meats range from the basic chicken tenders, to duck meat, one of the most interesting finds I've encountered.

Head over to E&B or another of the local discount grocers to find some great bargains and surprises.

Enjoy!
