Top 10 biggest meltdowns on 'America's Next Top Model'

With 13 Cycles having been broadcast, there is plenty of drama to choose from. I've chosen the Top 10 biggest meltdowns from America's Next Top Model, listed in no particular order.

Brittany Hatch

Who could forget Brittany expressing her displeasure during the Go-see challenge, when she ended up being late back to the designer and disqualified from the challenge because her cab driver didn't wait for her in a certain area like "she told him to." Of course, going back to when she did leave the cab, she told him no such thing, so she was playing the blame game. Brittany threw a royal tantrum, throwing her portfolio down on the ground and screaming to Natasha at the top of her lungs, all just outside the office of the designer, who heard her unprofessional attitude.

Catie Anderson

Catie had a horrible fear of heights, so naturally, she completely lost it when she found out that in episode 3, she would have to pose while suspended over a hole in the floor of a multi-storied building.

Gina Choe

I gotta admit, I'd be freaked out if I had to walk anywhere with a life cockroach on me, and add to it the fact that Jade was constantly torturing her, telling her to kiss the roach, Gina had a world class meltdown backstage prior to going out on the runway. She was crying and screaming and had to be virtually pushed through the curtain onto the runway.

Jaeda Young

There are always going to be meltdowns during the makeover episode, but Jaeda was extremely upset with her short hair, and cried and cried, bringing it up for weeks afterward.

Erin Wagner

When the girls had to create copy for a CoverGirl commercial, Erin was the first one finished, while the others struggled with what to say. At the actual photo shoot, however, it was Erin who couldn't make it through her commercial, crying, and having to have her makeup retouched three times.

Shandi Sullivan

When the girls arrived at their international destination of Milan they had some male models over to the house, and Shandi, who was had in a previous episode yelled at her boyfriend for going to the movies with some friends, including another girl, ended up having sex with one of the models.

She felt horribly guilty, and called him up and admitted it to him, which lead to screaming and yelling from both parties, and eventually, her boyfriend hung up on her, and she was beside herself crying afterwards.

Cassandra Whitehead

Cassandra was a former pagent girl with long brown hair, and when Tyra said she wanted Cassandra to get a cut like Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby, Cassandra freaked, but finally let them cut and color her hair blonde. That week in panel, Tyra was disappointed that Cassandra's hair wasn't as short as she had requested, and she told her that she was going to have to go back and get it cut the way she had asked.

The next episode, when the girls were going to be doing a photo shoot, Cassandra said she wasn't going to have her hair cut, and Mr. Jay said that she had to leave then, and Cassandra quit the competition. In the room, as she was packing to go, she was still going on and on about how she loved her hair and hated this cut, and was going to let it grow out again.

Elyse Sewell

In the second episode, way back in Cycle 1, Elyse had one of the most interesting confessionals in ANTM history, when she vented her anger against all the other girls, and Miss J as well.

She ranted about Robin showing her a Bible verse about unbelievers (Elyse is an atheist), she called Gisselle wasteful and worthless, she complained about Adrianne quoting "Jay and Silent Bob" in her ear, she called Katie insincere, and lastly, she vented her wrath on Miss J, after he made a comment about medical school being difficult, saying that of course she knew that.

Kahlen Rondot

Kahlen had one of the most memorable breakdowns after hearing that a friend she knew from high school had died. She tried to put it off her mind, but it didn't help when the photo shoot that day was going to be portraying the seven deadly sins while in a coffin in the bottom of a grave. Kahlen did a lot of crying, and was comforted by Christina. She didn't think she could go through with the shoot, but she toughed it out and put her emotions into her photo shoot, where she was to portray "wrath," and earned herself the first call-out for the week.

Ambreal Williams

Ambreal didn't have a makeup meltdown. She found out that they were going to do a photo shoot at the top of a building, and she was severely afraid of heights. She was terrified, and had to be helped up the stairs, where she had to continue looking down at the rooftop when Mr. Jay was talking to the girls about the shoot.

She finally got through with the shoot, but ended up in the bottom two, barely missing going home that week.
