Yesterday we talked about how to identify a cheater. Today we’ll cover a few of the tools cheaters use to avoid getting caught.

Cheating Tools

• A prepaid cell phone you know nothing about, a.k.a. “booty phone”. This one is a no-brainer: they don’t come with a detailed bill to your home.

• Hidden email accounts are an easy way to keep communications concealed. Watch for a lot of computer use when he thinks you are asleep.

• Hidden bank accounts and private post office boxes for the bills to be sent to are another set of tools cheaters use. He’s got to finance his hotel rooms in some way that you won’t find out. Run a credit check on your spouse to find hidden accounts.

• Obtaining a second home or apartment is usually a move reserved for hardcore serial cheaters. While rare, it can and does happen.
