Too much Tiger Woods news coverage? Vote now (poll)

In this Nov. 14, 2009 file photo, Tiger Woods, from the United States, lines up a putt during the third round of the Australian Masters golf tournament at the Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. Authorities say Woods has been seriously injured in a car wreck in Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol says the PGA star hit a fire hydrant and a tree as he pulled out of his driveway early Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in his 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle. Woods was taken to Health Central Hospital. His condition was not immediately known, though the news release said his injuries were serious. (AP Photo/Andrew Brownbill, File)

Is there too much Tiger Woods news coverage? Are you screaming enough is enough and watching reruns of Gilligan's Island rather than watch another news story about the Tiger Woods' scandal?

Share your opinion and vote in the poll below. Many feel that Tiger Woods accident and subsequent news of affairs is an important topic, specifically because Tiger is a public figure and a role model. Others feel that what goes on in Tiger Woods private life is simply that, private. Well, this fiasco has taught us one thing. What happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas, if your name is Tiger Woods.

Through scandal, illicit affairs, and allegations of sexual rendezvous Tiger Woods has replaced other major news topics. The country is at war, in the midst of the largest debate regarding health care, and is about to send 30,000 young Americans off to combat and meanwhile, Tiger Woods mistresses are basking in the limelight of the media’s eye. Forget about fifteen minutes worth, these alleged mistresses are getting a year’s worth in several hours. Is it too much? Has the media gone too far, or are they simply providing the news that people want to hear.

What’s your view? Are you tired of listening to Tiger Woods or fascinated by the juiciest details of illicit sex and waiting for the next mistress to emerge, hoping she’ll tell more than the last? Has mainstream media crossed the line and secured herself a place reserved solely for paparazzi and tabloid gossip columnists?

If you’re looking for Tiger Woods news and coverage, we have it here, feel free to check it out. If you’re fed up with the coverage, why not vote and leave a comment sharing your views.

The more coverage Tiger gets over this, the more money he'll have to pay out to these girls to get them to shut the hell up.
The girls are pure ho's, who don't deserve a dime, yet they'll end up with millions of dollars, just for lowering their standards, assuming they had any to begin with. It seems to me that the only taste they have is in their mouth.

People like reading about a Sex Scandal, but always say the press provides too much coverage. Tiger earned this and the women deserve every penny they can get him to pay, he just didn't realize that there was a longer term cost.

The way the mistresses are coming up, a new one daily, kind of reminds me of the 12 days of Christmas... On the first day of Christmas Tiger found for himself...

Sorry, Tiger has gone around for years play acting like he is the boy nextdoor, MR GOODIE TWO SHOES.. Truth will be known.. and I hope all of it. Man is a Slease. Let the chips fall where they may.. when you live your life for all to see, be careful what they will find.

when you pretend to be an angel and the public finds out what you really are, well you're darn right we want to know! Mr. perfect isn't so perfect now is he!!! Men may think he something special but I bet if their wives were cheating on them the way he is cheating on his, they would have a different outlook. Mr. woods, you are a disgrace and I hope your wife kicks you to the curb!

the guy never had any class in the first place, why would anyone think he is better than he is just because he can hit a little ball into a little hole. the guy belongs with the trash he sleeps with.

I think the media and public need to back off Tiger and let his family work through this, however best they can. Yes, Tiger is an @ss, but I really feel sad when I think about what his wife and family must be going through.

Why would anyone read this article about Tiger if they think there is too much new coverage of Tiger? Their choice of Internet reading speaks more honestly then their response to the poll.

Heaven forbid anyone one else in the world has allegedly been slated as making mistakes. As far as I'm concerned he has as much right to privacy as I do. (He didn't brak any human laws)

Secondly, I think the family is having a difficult time right now and it between them and GOD!

All the other people taking advantage of people with money they are just envious. When ever someone or something is on there "A" game there are vultures out there tyring to knock them down for instance Walmart, Oprah, Bill Cosby, AT&T, Fox, etc

  • hag 2 years ago

Those who are without SIN, throw the first stone!!! He's a human being, leave them alone so they get past this mess and on with raising their family!! Whatever their future holds, whether it's together or apart, let them decide!

I'd like to go to a clinic for people who have the opposite problem that tiger woods have. 19 girl friends why complain?

  • Endemeeyun 2 years ago

Yes! It is excessive ridiculous coverage by the media. They have obviously forgotton about their skeletons pushed through the studs of their closet. They need to go in and re-introduce themselves to THEIR cheating doggish habits (men/women). There are far more important issues facing our country right now. Move on! Get a life!
