Texas has always considered itself to be a leader, not a follower. The state prides itself on laying foundations for the rest of the country to build upon. Timing is considered to be everything in the arena of politics and Monday proved that assessment.
At a Tea Party forum, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst ‘called for President Obama to be impeached,’ based on a lack of national security pertaining the border, as well as, the Benghazi incident that costs four Americans their lives due to a lack of leadership from this administration.
On that same Monday, reports are, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann presented ‘a resolution to impeach Obama’and has ‘referred the matter to the House Judiciary Committee.’ Supposedly, ‘hearings will begin Thursday.’
Beginning in 2009 as you know, this administration has been plagued by scandal after scandal. Each scandal takes attention away from the previous one and so far, it’s worked to perfection. One would think, after five years of scandal after scandal, Congress would have at least, brushed up on their responsibility to the country and actually exercised the authority invested in them by the constitution, as well as their voters.
Here’s where we are today as a country, loaded with common sense. A gun running operation was overshadowed by Solyndra, a gross mismanagement of taxpayers funds, which gave the gun running operation a ‘Rest In Peace’ send off. Attorney General Eric Holder should have been long gone by now.
Benghazi gave the IRS scandal a farewell RIP and then the NSA scandal received it’s RIP with the Syria chemical weapons scandal. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should be in jail for murder.
With interest rekindling over these pass scandals, up pops the budget, the government shutdown and the debt ceiling squabbles. Next on the agenda will be once again, immigration reform, which will require another scandal to give it a RIP send off.
Neither Dewhurst, nor Bachmann can impeach Obama. That’s up to a Congress, which is led by a political correct Republican, who is too afraid to take down a criminal enterprise, occupying the White House, based on the race factor.
One thing is for certain, racism has produced too many RIP end games and it will not end until somebody in Congress actually see the Red, White and Blue side of this, instead of only the Black.
