Tony Stewart has not showed up on television in a NASCAR race in weeks and now fans are starting to wonder if he will ever be back on the track again. After the death of Kevin Ward Jr., Tony has been staying off the track and it sounds like as long as this investigation continues he won't be on the track at all. On Tuesday, Washington Post shared about how Stewart not racing is affecting everyone.
Greg Zipadelli, Stewart’s friend, former crew chief and competition director at Stewart-Haas spoke out about it all and said it is hard on everyone. He said, "It’s just an emotional roller coaster all week, you know what I mean? It is what it is. We do the best we can with what we’ve got right now. We’ll keep praying, keep our fingers crossed that we get the boss back sooner rather than later."
At this time, it is unknown if Tony Stewart will ever get back on the race track. The investigation is still going on about the death of Kevin Ward, Jr. Fans of Tony Stewart would love to see him back on the NASCAR track. At this time, Regan Smith and Jeff Burton have filled in for him. Hopefully Tony will return at some point.
