Tony Stewart finishes off an incredible year in the Sprint Cup Series with the Championship banquet in Las Vegas. After announcing that he hired Steve Addington, the South Carolina native, he moved to the banquet to have the time of his life. Of course, there will be little time for Stewart and his team to rest. There are appearances and other commitments to attend. There are also a lot of business matters to take care of.
Being an owner-driver in the Sprint Cup Series is very tough. Tony was able to win races and the championship as the owner-driver of his Chevy Impalas. This feat was last accomplished by the famous Alan Kulwicki several years ago. Tony also made history by winning 5 races in the ten race schedule, one win better than Jimmie Johnson. Tony Stewart lives in Indiana on a beautiful piece of land with a brand new house and a fishing pond.
Once he gets to relax, he plans on doing some fishing and hunting. Of course, Tony is always busy managing many of his endeavors. This type of lifestyle seems to be just what Tony needs to stay competitive and he cherishes every challenge and never backs down. When he needs to make decisions, he does so swiftly and moves on. Expect to see Tony Stewart and the entire Stewart-Haas team doing a lot of great things in 2012. The future looks great for this driver and his team.
