What is a Mentor?
A wise and trusted counselor or teacher. An influential senior sponsor or supporter. This is a person who has what you want. If they are successful in business, relationships etc, Snag and hold onto them.
What is a Life Coach?
If you are not familiar with personal coaching, personal coaches are people who are there to help you discover your true potential. Life coaches help you understand your obstacles in life, the things that hold you back and help you uncover the strength and confidence you need to follow your dreams and lead a life of abundance.
I have Coaches and Mentors in 3 vital areas that cover all my bases to support the goals and personal challenges I face and conquer in my life.
PHYSICAL
I go to the gym now about five (5) times a week. I do strength training and cardio. I ask questions of fellow gym rats around me about certain exercises, or one of the personal trainers. I do not use a trainer myself on a regular basis because I have been a certified fitness trainer with almost twenty years(20) experience. This one is easy and so cliché but I have to say it when it comes to nutrition; Garbage in Garbage out! Enough said about this!
EMOTIONAL/MENTAL
I enjoy talking with my friends, colleagues and a good therapy session now and then is good too. I have 2 key Mentors and Coaches that I utilize to guide me through to the next level that I am trying to accomplish. These are the folks I trust a great deal because they really care about my personal success.
SPIRITUAL
To me, this is a gift. I have a Spiritual Mentor who understands my spiritual needs. He does not judge me, belittle me or…..cause me any religious based guilt. I have found a really great man who I was lead to by doing something so simple. I prayed and meditated to be guided and when I found this man, I knew God was directing my intentions and most importantly, my INTUITION! Because of this personal experience, I have found I can trust my instincts, my “Gut” to make correct decisions.
This is a suggestion and I highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting a change in their lives, and want to accomplish more now than you have ever before.
