Tony Danza has finalized his divorce from his wife, Tracy. On Feb. 10, TMZ reported that Danza and Tracy are officially divorced after being separated for the past 6 years. The former couple has two older children together, daughters Katherine, 23, and Emily, 17. It is unknown why Tony and Tracy waited so long to get divorced (papers were filed in 2011), but a U.S. judge has signed off on the papers.
According to the legal documents, Tony cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The couple has not released a statement of any kind. It is presumed that their divorce is amicable and that they will continue to offer their love and support to their daughters.
Tony Danza's divorce news was not surprising when it broke back in '11 given the fact that he and Tracy had not been together for so long. However, the time line of events is a little confusing and many found themselves wondering why now, why all of the sudden? It is possible that the two wanted to wait until their children were older before they officially ended their marriage.
Usually, a divorce takes about 6 months to be finalized but it can take longer depending on what state you live in and what details have been ironed out beforehand.
Tony Danza's divorce has him "officially" single... Rumor has it that he has been dating Andrea Micelucci since 2008. No word on how serious that relationship is.
