Tony Calvento continues to give important updates in the Vhong Navarro-Cedric Lee case using his official Facebook page. In one of his posts this evening, May 15, 2014 (U.S. time) or this morning, May 16, 2014 (Philippine time), the brave journalist confirmed that Vhong Navarro will be cross-examined by Cedric Lee and Zimmer Raz’s lawyer in connection with their petition for bail.

Everyone knew that Cedric and Zimmer are facing grave coercion and serious illegal detention cases filed by Vhong Navarro at the sala of Judge Esperanza Cortez of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 271 in relation with the mauling incident that happened in a condominium unit last Jan. 22. Aside from the petition for bail, Tony Calvento also said the Hon. Judge Paz Cortez is also expected to make a ruling on the motion for stay of the accused at the NBI detention cell.

In their previous interviews with local media, the two expressed their willingness to stay at the NBI detention cell for security reason. To confirm whether the reported threats are true or not, Judge Paz Cortez decided to check the possible detention cell of Cedric Lee and Zimmer Raz three days ago.

The fans and supporters of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro are excited to know if the two accused will be transferred to the city jail or not. Meanwhile, some of the accused in the mauling of actor Vhong Navarro are still hiding the law, reports said Jed Fernandez will come out and turn the tables against the mastermind of the incident, but for some reasons, he decided to quit after his confession with Tony Calvento and DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima.

Aside from him, Jose Paolo Calma and Ferdinand Guerrero are also hiding the law, but like what the DOJ secretary said in her previous interviews, the authorities are doing everything to get them.
