Tony Calvento, a respected Filipino journalist is one of the main reasons why the case of Vhong Navarro against Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo remains hot issue not only in the Philippines but also in some parts of the world this evening, Feb. 14, 2014 (Philippine time), almost three weeks after the actor-TV host revealed his sufferings from the hands of six people in Forbeswood Condominium at The Fort in Taguig City.
In one of his Facebook posts yesterday, Feb. 13, 2014 (Philippine), Mr. action man almost revealed that aside from the first CCTV footage gathered by the National Bureau of Investigation or NBI in Forbeswood Condominium several days ago, another piece of evidence will also be submitted to the DOJ to help the real victim in this case. And as expected, the NBI presented the said evidence.
Another CCTV footage gathered by the bureau was presented to the viewing public last night on the late night news program Bandila. The video contains sensitive files including the romantic scene of the rumored couple Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo. Despite these solid evidences presented by the bureau, the alleged perpetrators of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro are still doing their usual activities freely.
Maybe, this is the reason why Tony Calvento is asking for your help. In his latest Facebook post, he encouraged everyone to pray and include all the victims of injustice in a mass. Mr. action man added that he's helping the victims like Vhong for free, according to him, it is his advocacy to fight for the truth and defend those who are helpless and persecuted.
"With all due respect and humility, I have already shared with new pieces of evidence which are very vital to this case. I was never selfish nor withheld anything. News even before it broke out. It is my advocacy to fight for the truth and defend those who are helpless and persecuted by the evil mighty who think they can push everybody around. I do this for free and never got a single centavo for my efforts. I don't expect it anyway. In this quest for justice for a man humiliated, beaten up and blackmailed, join us, through your support in your posts, prayers and if you could include all those who are victims of injustice in your intentions during mass it will surely help a lot," Tony said.
