The latest update in the Vhong Navarro-Solenn Heusaff movie titled "Da Possessed" is one of the hottest news online this morning, April 20, 2014, based on a released statement of ABS-CBN using its official website, the first movie together of the It's Showtime host and the very sexy actress-model had earned Php17M on its opening day. Aside from the biggest network's statement, Star Cinema, the production arm of ABS-CBN, has also confirmed the report.
Using its official Instagram account, the certified money maker movie outfit in the country today posted and announced the movie's first day gross income. "Da Possessed" is the actor's comeback movie and his fourth with box office movie director Ms. Joyce Bernal.
But while the management and "Da Possessed" team were celebrating, the fans and supporters of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro got excited because of the breaking news posted by Tony Calvento, one of the members of the actor's legal team, on his official Facebook page. Based on his updated post, one of the men accused in the Vhong Navarro-Cedric Lee case is willing to come out to reveal the real truth behind the mauling incident that happened in a condominium unit last Jan. 22.
Tony Calvento revealed that he had a heart to heart talk with the guy and it happened because of a third man, according to him, the accused is willing to testify against Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo, Zimmer Raz and the others involved in the incident. He did not give any detailed information regarding the identity of the third man who initiated the parlance, but according to him, it was done in good faith because of the go signal given to him by DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima.
The print and broadcast journalist also revealed that what happened to Vhong was a set up contrary to Cedric Lee's claim that the actor was caught raping Deniece Cornejo on the evening of Jan. 22. "The testimony is explosive. The details where, what time and when the planning of the setting up of Vhong Navarro was given to me. The place where they had dinner was also revealed."
