Tonopah fights back against cancer

Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s largest fundraising event, will return to Tonopah April 26.

Fundraising efforts will kick off at the annual chili cook-off at Tin Top Bar & Grill from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., Feb. 8.

Anyone is welcome to join the efforts to fight back against cancer. Teams of any size and all ages are welcome.

“We have lost several friends, family members and community members this past year and we need YOUR help to remember these friends and fight back to find a cure,” said chairwoman and cancer survivor Susan Monroe.

You can sign a team up on line now at www.relayforlife.org/tonopahaz. Relay for Life of Tonopah will be at Tonopah Valley High School April 26. The event lasts through the night with participants rallying against cancer all night long.
